Résumé :
The COVID-19 pandemic impacted several sectors, among them the Social Circus projects that, although they always reinvented themselves to maintain their social actions, had to paralyze face-to-face activities. Thus, the question arises: how have Social Circus projects conducted their formative and aesthetic artistic processes in the pandemic scenario? The aim is to present and discuss
the process of creating the presentation “heterotopias” of Trupe Sofia, a group of artistic specialization of the Instituto de Incentivo à Criança e ao Adolescente de Mogi Mirim - ICA. It is a research about the practice itself, using texts and images that were read/viewed as sources, significant themes were highlighted and categories of analysis were produced. The creation process took place through numerous workshops with guided activities and the production of small scenes with elements of acrobatics, juggling and balance, as well as notions of theatre. The group of students was the center of the creative process, choosing the acts, songs and helping to choose the sequence of the program and the educators, the mediators of ideas and divergences of opinions. Finally, we think that there are still deficiencies in the developed process, but also a power to convert students into protagonists in the process of creation, production and presentation in which the artistic product of Social Circus is their pedagogical-artistic process.
